So far in my experience feedback on it has been mixed at best, but it’s tough to tell the actual Hardcore players from the riffraff,” tweeted Bashiok. “Honestly if your character dropping all of your items when you die in Hardcore is something a lot of people want, we’d very seriously consider it. This design change prompted a lot of discussion and raised a lot of good points in the forums, and here’s what Bashiok, who is the community manager for Blizzard had to say about this. That’s not the case in Diablo III, however, as if you die then say goodbye to all your equipment. If you’ve played Diablo II’s hardcore mode then you’ll know that upon dying, your party member can loot your belongings and hence, preserving them. ![]()
